Day 1- Arrival in Cairo
Upon your arrival, a representative from Excursies Egypte Tours will meet you at Cairo International Airport and assist you with the transfer to your hotel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. Depending on your arrival time, you’ll have a free evening to relax and settle in Cairo. If you arrive early, feel free to reach out to us, and we’d be happy to suggest a tour for you to make the most of your day. Enjoy your overnight stay in Cairo!
► Day 2- Giza Pyramids Complex & Cairo
In the morning, our driver will pick you up to join our tour guide and start your day tour by visiting The Giza Pyramids Complex including:
The Great Pyramid of Khufu, the largest and oldest of the three pyramids, originally stood at 146.5 meters and is the only remaining wonder of the ancient world. It was built as a tomb for Pharaoh Khufu around 2560 BC, and though much of its limestone casing has been removed, its core structure remains awe-inspiring. You can also visit Khufu’s burial chamber for an additional cost.
Next, explore the Pyramid of Khafre (Chephren), the second-largest pyramid, which stands slightly shorter than the Great Pyramid but appears taller due to its elevated position. This pyramid is attributed to Pharaoh Khafre, and nearby is The Valley Temple, where you can see The Great Sphinx with its lion body and the head of Khafre. A camel ride around the pyramids is also available for those wanting a unique desert experience.
Enjoy your Lunch meal at a local restaurant then continue to visit:
The Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, home to over 250,000 ancient artifacts, including the iconic treasures of Tutankhamun. The museum showcases Egypt’s rich history, with displays spanning over 5,000 years, offering a glimpse into the lives of the pharaohs.
Then visit Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, the oldest Souq in the Middle East.
Finish your day tour then we will transfer you to Cairo airport to catch your flight to Luxor, and upon arrival, our driver will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel in Luxor.
► Day 3-Discover Luxor Attractions
After breakfast, you will meet our tour guide and together, you will start a journey to discover Luxor's best attractions including:
Karnak Temple:
Karnak temple is the largest ancient religious site known anywhere in the world, No site in Egypt is more impressive than Karnak It is the largest temple complex ever built by man. It represents the combined achievement of many generations of ancient builders and Pharaohs. The Temple of Karnak actually has three main temples situated on 247 acres of land.
The Valley of the Kings:
The final resting place of Egypt’s rulers from the 18th to the 20th dynasty is home to tombs including the great Pharaoh Ramses II and boy Pharaoh Tutankhamun. The tombs were well stocked with all the material goods a ruler might need in the next world. Most of the decoration inside the tombs is still well preserved.
The Temple of Hatshepsut:
The Temple of Hatshepsut is one of the most beautiful & best preserved of all of the temples of Ancient Egypt you can find at Luxor . The temple was built on three levels with two wide ramps in a central position joining the levels together. Rising out of the desert Plain, in a series of terraces, The temple of Hatshepsut Mergs with sheer limestone Cliffs of the eastern face of the Theban Mountain as if Nature herself had built this Extraordinary monument.
Colossi of Memnon:
Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone statues of King Amenhotep III, which are the only remains of a complete mortuary temple. The statues are made from blocks of quartzite sandstone which existed in Cairo and then moved 700 KM to Luxor, The two statues are Known as the Colossi of Memnon, Rising about 18 M from the plain, They are the remains of what was once the largest complex on the west bank, Built by Amenhotep the Third.
Enjoy your lunch meal during the day then we will transfer you back to your hotel overnight.
► Day 4- Edfu Temple & Kom Ombo Temple
In the morning, our driver will pick you up and drive to Edfu to meet your tour guide and start a visit to:

Upper Egyptian site is dominated by a large well -Preserved temple, dedicated to the hawk-God Horus, The Construction of the Ptolemaic temple of Horus, which was founded on the site of a much earlier temple, dated to the period between the reigns of Ptolemy the Third(246 B.c), The descriptions on the walls include the Myth of contending of Horus and Seth(Probably performed annually as a religious Drama.

Kom Ombo Temple
The temple and the associated settlement site located 40 K.m north of Aswan, the temple was dedicated to the deities Sobek and Horus and dates mainly to the Ptolemaic and Roman periods (332 B.b -395 A.c)
Then we will drive you to your hotel in Aswan to check in and spend the night.
► Day 5- Aswan Attractions
In the early morning, ask the hotel to arrange breakfast boxes for you then our driver will pick you up to visit Abu Simbel from Aswan by Private Car
Abu Simbel Temples:
The two temples of Ramses the Second and the Queen Nefertari were carved out of the Mountain on the west bank of the Nile between 1274 and 1244 B.c, The Great Temple was dedicated to Ramses the Second, Ra-Harakhty, Amun Ra, and Ptah, with 4 Colossal statues, The second temple was dedicated to Queen Nefertari and Goddess Hathor, the two temples were dismantled stone by stone and rebuilt on higher ground, The preservation of the two temples of Abu Simbel must Rank as the greatest Achievement of the Unesco
Lunch will be served back in Aswan then you will visit:
Philae Temple:
Built to honor the goddess Isis, this was the last temple built in the classical Egyptian style. Construction began around 690 BC, and it was one of the last outposts where the goddess was worshipped.
Then we will transfer you to the airport to catch your flight back to Cairo and check in at our hotel.
►Day 6- Alexandria Attractions:
Start your Private tour to Alexandria From Cairo, starting at 7:00 am with a pickup from your hotel by our Egyptologist and transfer by a private A/C vehicle to Alexandria, The distance is 220 km Northwest of Cairo. Arrive at Alexandria around 10 am and start your day Tour of Alexandria visiting The Roman Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa
The Catacombs Kom El-Shoqafa:
Archaeologists believe that the Catacomb of Kom el Shoqafa was started in the 2nd century A.D. and was used to intern the dead for the next 200 years. This was a period in the history of the city of Alexandria when there was a great mixture of different cultures. Of course, there was the ancient history of the great Egyptian kingdoms which went back thousands of years
Pompey's Pillar:
It has nothing to do with Pompey. The story behind the name refers to the possible burial ground of the Roman general when he fled to Egypt and was assassinated after losing a major battle in Greece against Caesar. The red granite column was probably built to honor Emperor Diocletian. Today it stands 25 meters high and is the tallest ancient monument in Alexandria.
The Citadel of Sultan Qaitbay:
The Citadel was built in the 15th Century by the Mamlouk Sultan Qeitbay, To Guard the City against the threat of Crusaders, This wonderful Islamic Monument was built by the use of the ruins of the old Lighthouse that was constructed by Ptolemy 11 in the 3rd Century B.c. The Lighthouse was damaged during an Earthquake that Occurred in Egypt in 1303 A.c during the reign of the Mamlouk King
Lunch in Alexandria in an Egyptian Restaurant and fish Market, After Lunch, proceed to Visit the new Library of Alexandria.
The New Library of Alexandria:
The Library of Alexandria was reborn in October 2002 to reclaim the mantle of its ancient namesake. It is not just an extraordinarily beautiful building; it is also a vast complex where the arts, history, philosophy, and science come together. Moreover, the myriad activities it offers have made it a place for open discussion, dialogue, and understanding.
The Roman Amphitheatre:
It's a fascinating archaeological site that dates back to the 2nd century and was built during the reign of the Roman Emperor, Antoninus Pius. It could accommodate thousands of spectators who used to gather to witness the athletic competition and dramatic battles. The site has undergone many excavations and restorations and now, it stands as a testament to Alexandria's rich heritage and the exquisite effect of the Roman Empire on the city.
